Free bowling will be available starting at 5:00 p.m. Be sure to arrive by 6:00 pm. While the bowling is free, you will be responsible for purchasing any food and drinks. Also, please bring jerseys; we are missing some and no longer have enough for full sets. If we don't get them back, we would have o come up with enough money to buy a full set---so PLEASE bring back jerseys!!!! Thanks.

Kick Off Tournament

2010 Kick Off Tournament!

We are playing in the 2010 kick off tournament at Granite Regional Park on Sunday, January 31st.
We will meet at River City High in the parking lot at 7a.m. and carpool from there. It is important that we all get there on time, our first game has a kickoff at 8:30 a.m. and we need to get there and get registered before we can start warming up.

We are fielding two teams for the tournament, an A side and a frosh/soph team. Each team plays at least 3 games.

A side: 8:30 vs. Foothills, 9:50 vs. La Morinda, 1:05 vs. Marin

Frosh/Soph: 11:25 vs. MoLo (?), 2:30 vs. McClatchy, 3:55 vs. Granite Bay

There will be food and drink available for purchase at the tournament and we will bring water and some snacks but I would recommend that if you don't want to spend much, bring a lunch with you and a water bottle. Also, bring warm, dry clothes for time between games. If any parents would also like to bring snacks for the team, that would be welcomed.
Also, remember to bring I.D. cards!

Finally, UCD and Sac State are playing tonight (Friday 1/29) at the Granite Regional Park, kickoff at 7P.M. This will be a great game and a good opportunity for you to get out and see some good rugby as well as meet the coaches and players from two of the best college programs in the area.

We play Kennedy High School on Friday (January 21). Kennedy is also just starting this year, so the match should be an interesting one. While they've been practicing since early December, we have come along quickly and the match should be very competitive. We're meeting at 4:00 at River City High School (5:00 kick-off approximately). Be sure to be on time and ready to go.
